FAQ

  • Every six to twelve months.

Piano’s expand and contract with seasonal climate changes. In Toronto, we experience hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. These temperature changes drastically change a piano’s tuning.

Keeping a piano in tune regularly also increases the longevity of the instrument, for those with a family heirloom and want to keep it in top notch shape.

  • A pitch raise is required when a piano’s pitch is lower than 20-25 cents (about a quarter of a semitone) from standard pitch (A-440Hz). The general rule of thumb is two years or more from the piano’s last tuning.

  • Every piano is different, many different factors include:

    • time since last tuning

    • environment & piano condition

    • additional repairs or adjustments

  • We offer a 10% multi-piano discount for two or more pianos on the property.

We also offer a pay-what-you-can service for public school pianos as we know funding for arts departments is dwindling. We like to do our part to keep students playing on perfectly tuned and maintained pianos!

  • We service throughout the GTHA including but not limited to:

    -Brampton
    -Burlington
    -Halton Hills
    -Hamilton
    -Mississauga
    -Oakville
    -Toronto
